This is why we created “How to Reconnect with your Teenager,”
a workshop with your overall well-being in mind.
In this One hour workshop, you’ll discover:

- -How to Get Your Parent(s) to Listen
- -The Three Most Common Mistakes Parents make with their transgender teen
- -Why Having More Fun Together is the key to reconnection
- -The Most Important Thing Your Facilitators did to Feel More Understood
Through exercises, conversation, useful tools, and heartfelt instruction from each facilitator, How to Reconnect with your Teenager teaches you how to go from feeling like your parents will never get it, to a better and deeper connection with your true self than you’ve ever had.

How many people does the cost cover?
The $20 workshop fee covers one teen and up to two parents/guardians.
What is the age range of teenagers?
These workshops are designed for families with teenagers ranging from 13-17 years old.
Do you have scholarships available?
Unfortunately, we do not have scholarship opportunities available at this time. We will have them in the future.
Do we need to bring anything?
The only things we ask you to consider bringing are:
- A water bottle (there will be water available)
- Something to take notes (please no electronic devices, as they can be distracting)
- And Open Mind
Will any pictures be taken?
Nope. It is our intention that this be a safe and private space.
Can I come without my parent(s)?
This workshop is designed to increase engagement and reconnection with your parent(s)/guardian(s) and works best if all parties are present.

Can I bring a friend?
We realize how important friendships are, especially as a teen, and especially as a trans teen.
If you have a friend who you think would benefit from this workshop, please tell them to invite their parents so they can all get the reconnection experience.
Supportive friends can wait outside during the family experience of this workshop.
